Most forklift and warehouse problems come down to a handful of numbers. How much can this truck actually lift once the load sits farther out on the forks? Where is the load center for a deep pallet, and is it still inside the rating? Will one battery cover the shift, and how long will it take to charge? How much floor does all this stock need in racking? What does the truck cost to run per hour — and is that ramp too steep to drive? Each is simple on its own, but working through all of them by hand turns a straightforward job into guesswork.

PowerFork is built to take that arithmetic off your plate. Rather than long articles you have to read end to end, the site is organized around a handful of small, single-purpose calculators, each aimed at one part of moving a load. The Forklift Load Capacity Calculator derates a truck’s rated capacity when the load center reaches past the data-plate figure, using safe capacity = rated × (rated load center ÷ actual load center). The Forklift Load Center Calculator turns a load’s length along the forks into its load center and compares it to the standard rating point. The Forklift Battery Runtime Calculator estimates how long an electric truck runs per charge from its battery energy, usable depth of discharge, and average draw — and how long it takes to charge back up. The Pallet Storage Space Calculator sizes rack positions and floor area from a pallet count, footprint, rack levels, and an aisle factor. The Forklift Operating Cost Calculator works out cost per hour and per year from an energy or fuel rate, consumption, and run-hours. And the Forklift Ramp Gradeability Calculator converts a ramp’s rise and run into a grade and angle and checks it against a typical gradeability limit.

It is supported by advertising, which is how the tools stay free with no account required. Every result the tools produce — a derated capacity, a load center, a runtime, a footprint, an hourly cost, a grade — is a general estimate built on standard formulas and the numbers you enter, not a validated engineering or safety assessment. Real loads, trucks, and sites vary, so the truck’s capacity data plate and operator manual are the authority, and no one should operate a forklift without proper training and certification.
