Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These terms cover using powerfork.com: the six calculators, the blog, the learn section, and the museum. Using the site means you agree to them.
What PowerFork Is
PowerFork is an independent, ad-supported reference site about forklifts, material handling, and warehouse equipment — capacity and load handling, forklift safety and operation, batteries and maintenance, and storage and logistics. It is not a forklift dealer, manufacturer, or training provider, not affiliated with any equipment brand, standards body, or safety authority, and not a professional engineering or safety service. The Load Capacity Calculator, Load Center Calculator, Battery Runtime Calculator, Pallet Storage Space Calculator, Operating Cost Calculator, and Ramp Gradeability Calculator are free, browser-based tools built on standard formulas and the numbers you enter.
Using the Tools
No account, sign-up, or payment is required to use any calculator. Inputs you type into a tool are processed in your browser to produce an estimate; see the Privacy Policyfor what does and doesn’t leave your device. Results are general guidance based on standard formulas and rules of thumb, not a validated assessment for your specific truck, load, or site.
Not Professional Safety or Engineering Advice
Nothing on PowerFork is professional safety, engineering, or operator-certification advice. Real forklift capacity, stability, and safe operation depend on the exact truck, attachment, load, surface, and environment. Follow the truck’s capacity data plate and operator manual, comply with the safety rules that apply where you work, and make sure anyone operating a forklift is properly trained and certified. The full reasoning is in the Disclaimer.
Acceptable Use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- Automate requests against the tools at a volume that degrades the site for other visitors
- Scrape, republish, or resell the site’s content or tool logic wholesale
- Attempt to bypass, disrupt, or probe the site’s security
- Submit deliberately false information through the contact or subscribe forms
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
Content & Ownership
PowerFork’s own text, calculator design, and site design belong to PowerFork. The museum and learn sections draw their entries, images, and facts from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, used under their respective public-domain and Creative Commons licenses — that content belongs to its original contributors, not to PowerFork.
Ads & Affiliate Links
The site carries Google AdSense advertising and, on some tool and article pages, Amazon affiliate links. Both are disclosed in full in the Affiliate Disclosure. Ads and product links are served by third parties and are not endorsements by PowerFork.
No Warranty
The site, its tools, and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We try to keep the calculators correct and the guides current, but we don’t guarantee either.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PowerFork isn’t liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, including decisions made based on a calculator result or an article.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
